Season 2008 - 2009

Players’ Contributions:

      A fee of £1.00 has been decided for the following season for each week to cover the cost of referee’s etc. It is requested that these monies be paid and should be passed to Carolyn prior to kick-off on a Sunday afternoon. It is the responsibility of all parents to ensure that this is adhered to, as it is not the manager or coach’s responsibility to pay for the referee or for the kit to be washed.

Additional Fundraising:

      It has been recognised that additional funding needs to be raised, a recommendation of the management committee is that parents of players join the  “200 Club” at a cost of £0.50 per week, this money will be collected on a monthly basis at £2.00 per month. For information there is a chance to win £125.00 per month plus other monetary prizes in this club draw.

Transport:

      It is likely that the mini-bus will be available for most away games however there may be occasions where this is not possible, therefore it will become the responsibility of the parents to ensure that players are able to attend the venue. However there is no transport available for training so players need to inform if a lift is required and it is requested that more parents offer their support with this issue.

Tour:

      It has been brought to our attention that the players wish to go on “tour” next season to finish off their junior football times, if this is possible then we would probably look at around Whitsun time 2009, in order to progress with this numbers and deposits would need to be taken by the end of October 2008, whilst ourselves are more than happy to oversee this opportunity it will be expected that other parents come along to supervise
